I have started "homeschooling" Emma in the afternoons after we get home from school. She was very frustrated because she was not reading at school yet. She is in a Montessori classroom with three, four, and five year old students. The five years olds are starting to read and Emma did not understand why they already knew how to read and she didn't! I found a great website (Hubbardscupboard.com) that has awesome homeschool materials that have a Bible theme. I've been combining the curriculum for three and four year olds so she is learning her letters, numbers, letter sounds, and Bible stories, and also learning how to read sight word books and learning about good Christian attitudes. She is loving it and is wearing me out wanting to do "school" all of the time!
