New Reading Glasses

Emma loves to wear her sunglasses to read like Gaga and Poppa use their reading glasses. Mom had the idea to pop the lenses out of one pair of her sunglasses. Pretty cute!!

We had so much fun at Gaga and Poppa's house this weekend. Emma had to put on her "glasses" to read the Bible to Lily. She took lots of pictures of everybody with her toy camera. She loved relaxing in Poppa's lap with her new bathrobe on.

First Week of School

This was my first week back to school. Everything has been going very well (other than the air conditioning being out in my classroom!). I think I'm really going to enjoy being back at school. Emma is still loving school. She is in such a rush to get there in the morning!

Headbands

Today I bought Emma some headbands from Walmart. Some days her hair is so crazy there is nothing we can do with it. Hopefully the headbands will at least keep it out of her eyes. I think she was excited about them, because she put every one of them on at once!!

Back To School!!!

Today was Emma's first day back to school. I was a little worried how everything would go since we had been home together all summer. When we got to school all five of the two year old classes were heading to the gym for snack. Emma sat down at the table to eat her snack with all of her new classmates. I told her that Mommy had to go to work now and she said "No. Sit right there Mommy." Then she saw her friend Chloe from her class last year. She told everyone at her table that "Coco bites all day". She saw her friend Lucas and ran off to play. She gave Chloe a big hug and I took that as my cue to exit. I peeked at her one more time on the way out and she was playing happily. Hopefully she will have a great day!!!
