Yesterday, Emma went to Children's Hospital for some tests and to meet with the neurologist about her seizures. After a very long EEG, we met with Dr. Mathison. Everything is completely normal in her brain, so he thinks her seizures are just caused by her fever. He also thinks that she will outgrow them by the time she is five years old. He gave us two different medications to help control the seizures. One medication can be used if she spikes a high fever and the other can be used if a seizure lasts longer than five minutes. The doctor was very nice and I felt really good about our appointment (especially about the outgrowing the seizures part!!!)

God love her, I can't imagine having to see that sweet little girl go through all of that. I hope she does outgrow them soon!
